  • "In addition to being a good friend, Don Aliquo is a brilliant soulful musician/composer, consummate educator, and a magnificent individual that I have performed and recorded with over thirty plus years. "

From Internationally Acclaimed bassist and composer Rufus Reid

  • "Few saxophonists possess Aliquo’s level of harmonic sophistication, compositional originality and dynamic command; his rich tone and powerful melodic storytelling are intellectually and emotionally gripping, qualities made especially evident in the stripped-down trio setting, where most players struggle, Don thrives in the freedom — creating depth, movement, and harmonic richness through a masterful command of advanced harmony and improvisation that places him firmly in the lineage of the classic jazz masters at the height of the art form."
